Welcome to the Official Trans Agulhas Website. The Trans Agulhas Challenge is the 'World's Toughest Inflatable Boat Challenge' which begins annually December 28th at Plettenberg Bay, South Africa.

The Trans Agulhas is a fast paced, action packed water sports event. Over 60 inflatable boats will battle it out on the waves in the most prestigious Inflatable Boat Racing competition in the world!

This 5 day race will visit beaches along the coast between Natures Valley and Strand where the race will finish on the 1st of January 2012. See "Stages" for more details.
